One person suffered life-threatening injuries in Crown Heights apartment building fire Friday evening, according to the FDNY.
Firefighters responded to a 911 call for a fire at the Albany Houses located at 162 Troy Ave. at 7:04 p.m.
The fire was on the twelfth floor of the 14-story building.
A total of 38 units and 120 FDNY and EMS personnel responded to the scene.
EMS transported the injured individual to Interfaith Medical Center.
A hazmat unit was requested to the scene.
The fire was brought under control at approximately 7:56 p.m.
The cause remains under investigation.
