Little Italy in the Bronx kicked off Piazza di Belmont today.
The event started last summer as a way to help businesses during the pandemic.
East 188th Street to Crescent Avenue will be closed to traffic from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
The street closures allow for more tables and dining areas to be set up outside and to give shoppers more room to stroll through the street.
