Police are probing separate stabbing incidents in Baychester involving a 12-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy.

They say the 12-year-old was transported by private means to New York Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and is in stable condition.

News 12 was told that the boy was approached by three males who demanded his property.

That escalated into an altercation that ended with the 12-year-old stabbed once in his lower back.

A 15-year-old was also brought to the hospital in stable condition. It’s not yet known if the incidents are related.
