Two Brooklyn men were arrested in Inwood after police say they found a loaded weapon inside their vehicle.
Officers say they pulled over a SUV on Sheridan Boulevard due to an expired registration.
During the stop, police say they found a loaded handgun and two ammunition magazines inside the vehicle.
They say the driver, Jean Francois, and the passenger, Melchizedek Neverson, were both taken into custody.
Francois and Neverson are facing several charges, including criminal possession of a weapon.
