Two men were shot early this morning when a trip to the Sin City strip club turned violent.
According to authorities, a dispute started at the Mott Haven establishment when two underage men tried to get inside. A scuffle ensued, and both of the men ended up with gunshot wounds, police say.
One of the victims was hit in the leg, while the other was shot four times in the torso and is currently listed in critical condition at Lincoln Hospital.
People working in the area complain that Sin City has been a constant problem in the neighborhood, and they want to see it shut down. However, not everyone agrees.
"They employ people, they provide a service to the community," says Philippe Gouamba. "They have a right to be here, but then the responsibility will fall on them to make sure that the area's safe."
