Two men are wanted in connection to the Thursday shooting of a
16-year-old boy at a playground in Mott Haven, police say.
Police say shots rang out minutes before 5 p.m. near Alexander Avenue and East 140th Street. The 16-year-old boy was shot in his backside and was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
According to the NYPD, two men wearing all black may be responsible for the shooting and are currently on the loose.
What exactly led to those shots being fired has not been determined. This marks the third consecutive day that police have reported a teenager as a gun violence victim.
