Two women are dead following a hit-and-run crash in East New York Saturday, police say.

They say the incident happened right before 11 p.m. when a gray BMW hit a Toyota Camry near Pennsylvania and Flatlands Avenue.

The driver and passenger of the Toyota were taken to the hospital where they both died.

Authorities say the occupants of the BMW fled on foot following the crash.

No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
