Police: 34-year-old man shot in Wakefield

No arrests have been made yet and an investigation is ongoing.

A 34-year-old man was left hospitalized by a shooting early Sunday morning in Wakefield.
Police say the man was on the corner of White Plains Road and East 204th Street at around 3 a.m. when he was shot in his backside.
He was taken to Jacobi Hospital and authorities say he is expected to be OK.
Police say three shell cases were recovered from the scene. No arrests have been made yet and an investigation is ongoing.
