Police say four people were shot in Sunset Park Thursday night.

News 12 is told the shooting happened around 9 p.m. right next to Iglesia Sol de Justicia. Police roped off the entire block and put markers to pinpoint evidence at the scene.

News 12 is told the church was not involved in any way and that their website says they were closed all day.

Sources say four people were taken to the hospital, three men and a woman. All of the victims were around the age of 40.

Their conditions are not explicitly known at this time, but News 12 is told they are all expected to be OK.

Police have begun searching for whoever is responsible. Officials say they have been questioning two men, but that no arrests have been made at this time.
