A 5-year-old girl was found dead in her bed Saturday morning.
Police say the girl’s mother made the discovery around 10 a.m. at their home at 54 Bristol St.
They say Amayalee Pationi was unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS transported the girl to Brookdale Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The medical examiner is still working to determine the cause of death.
