A Bed-Stuy man accused of killing a Crown Heights bodega clerk is now in custody and has been identified.

Police say Daquan David, 29, was arrested Wednesday and charged in the death of Nazim Berry, who was shot in the head on Feb. 26 at Amin Deli and Grocery on Franklin Avenue.

David is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Those close to the victim say it all started because Berry would not give David a free cigar. David then left and came back with a gun and shot Berry in the head, according to the NYPD.

The United Bodegas of America responded to the arrest with a reward for any information leading to the arrest as well as donating to Berry's funeral costs.
