A man has been arrested in a Brooklyn hate crime case that's separate from vandalism plaguing the Midwood area, but investigators say there could be a link between the two.
According to authorities, David Haddad, of Manhattan, is charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime for four incidents in southern Brooklyn where he allegedly made threatening, anti-Semitic phone calls to elderly women.
There have still not been any arrests in other cases, including swastikas spray-painted on a local yeshiva over the weekend and a car bombing in November.
