Police arrest man in connection to shooting murders in Clinton Hill

Jorge Benitez Villa, 26, now faces two counts of murder in the second degree.

The NYPD has arrested a man in connection to two shootings that took place in Clinton Hill earlier this week, killing three men.
Jorge Benitez Villa, 26, now faces two counts of murder in the second degree. The third victim in these shootings has been identified as 59-year-old Francisco Fuentes Rangel.
The shooting took place on Sunday evening. Investigators say that Benitez Villa was spotted getting off of a dark-colored moped at 29 Ryerson St., where he shot two men. One of those men was found dead and another, later identified as Rangel, was hospitalized after he was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Rangel was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
