A 3-month-old baby girl was killed, and her 33-year-old mother is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in Clinton Hill Saturday, police say.
The collision happened around 6:20 p.m. and involved two vehicles.
The driver of the car that struck the mother and child is in custody, police say.
He is charged with attempted robbery, attempted grand larceny and resisting arrest. After the collision, he allegedly attempted to steal a citizen’s car to flee from police.
A 38-year-old pedestrian was also involved and taken to the hospital in stable condition.
A 26-year-old man, believed to be a passenger in one of the vehicles, has been taken into custody.
A 49-year-old woman who was driving a Honda Civic is in stable condition.
