Police: Concourse Village man arrested in connection to subway fire that killed 1

Police arrested a 50-year-old man for allegedly starting a subway fire that killed one person and injured seven others.
The incident happened in March when smoke began billowing out of the Lenox Avenue 2 and 3 stations.
FDNY tells News 12 that the train was completely engulfed when they arrived.
The fire caused the MTA to cut power to the lines, suspending service along the 1, 2 and 3 lines.
Concourse Village resident Nathaniel Avinger is facing charges.
