Police are continuing to search for a man who was involved in a stabbing near East Kingsbridge Road that took place Thursday afternoon around 1:30 p.m.
Officials say that a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation between two men near East Kingsbridge Road and Jerome Avenue in the Bronx, which led to a 32-year-old man being stabbed in the chest.
The man then fled the scene by hopping onto the Kingsbridge Road four train.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
