Police have identified the suspect wanted for allegedly killing a man last week in Bushwick.
Police say 20-year-old Bryan Aponte is accused of killing 53-year-old Michael Matusiak.
Officials say Aponte and two others were trying to break into parked cars near Grattan Street and Knickerbocker Avenue when Matusiak intervened.
Police found Matsuiak with five gunshot wounds to his torso just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Matsuiak's coworker, a 57-year-old man, was also shot in the torso and ear, and a 13-year-old girl on her way to school was shot in the hip. Both were taken to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment.
Police released surveillance images earlier this week, but could not confirm if the man in that video was Aponte or another suspect.
Matsuiak's fiancée told News 12 Brooklyn at the scene that it was only his second day working at the mechanic shop, and he was a kind person who was always willing to help others.
He leaves behind three daughters and his fiancée.
Police are looking for the three people they believe are involved in the shootings, but at this time have only named Aponte.
Aponte is described as 5 foot 5 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
