Police are investigating two unrelated stabbings that happened overnight in Brooklyn.
The first happened around 9 p.m. Thursday in Gravesend.
Police say a 58-year-old man and 49-year-old woman were both stabbed in the torso at the Marlboro Houses on Avenue V.
News 12 is told both victims are stable at a local hospital, but are not cooperating with police. No suspect information is available.
Then, another double stabbing was reported in Gowanus at about 1 a.m. Friday.
Investigators say it happened on Sackett Street, near the intersection at Third Avenue.
News 12 is told a 43-year-old man and a 40-year-old man had an argument with a 28-year-old suspect. At some point during the dispute, the 28-year-old stabbed one man in the torso and the other in the finger before running away.
Police say one victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, while the other refused medical help.
