Police seek man they say took knife from crime scene at Brownsville subway station
Police say the officer involved is expected to be released today from Brookdale Hospital.

Police are looking for a man they say took a knife from the active crime scene Sunday at Sutter Avenue Station in Brownsville
Police say the man was last seen in front of 480 Sutter Ave.
This comes after four people were injured, including one police officer, when police attempted to stop an armed fare evader Sunday in Brownsville.
The officer and a female bystander who were hit are both in stable condition.
The suspect and a 49-year-old male bystander are both in critical condition.
