Police have made an arrest in a hit-and-run that killed a 90-year-old man in Sheepshead Bay.

Steven Malcaus, 63, is facing several charges, including leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and operating a vehicle without a license.

The hit-and-run happened on July 8 around 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Avenue U and East 14th Street. Authorities say Zhuo Xie, 90, was walking in the crosswalk when Malcaus, who was on a blue moped, collided with him.

Surveillance video showed the moped rider getting up from the ground, getting back on the moped and driving away, leaving Xie on the street with severe head trauma. Xie was pronounced dead at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn.
