Police say a man and woman were found fatally shot inside a home in Bushwick.
Officials say the 45-year-old man and 52-year-old woman were found inside of the second-floor apartment of 189 Menahan St. with gunshot wounds.
Police tell News 12 they are investigating the incident as a possible murder-suicide.
Police towed a black livery cab parked outside of the building. Sources tell News 12 they believe it may have been the shooter's car.
Sources also say the woman was working as a home attendant for a 93-year-old woman who lives in the apartment. They say she was home at the time of the shooting, but was not hurt. They also say they believe the man killed the woman and then shot himself.
Neighbors say they were completely shocked.
"That's ridiculous--that just has me speechless right now," says Gabriel Morales of Bushwick.
Police believe the man and woman were in a relationship.
The gun was recovered at the scene.
