Police say a 31-year-old man died after he was shot multiple times in East New York Saturday afternoon.

They say the victim was found in a car with gunshot wounds to the head and arms near 434 Milford St. around 1 p.m.

Authorities say the man was taken to Brookdale University Hospital where he died.

Peaches Simons, who was a neighbor and friend of the victim, says he was a loving father.

Officials say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
