A man was fatally shot at a party in Brownsville early Sunday, investigators say.

Police tell News 12 the incident happened at 316 Livonia Ave. just before 1 a.m.

They say a person opened fire multiple times and shot a 22-year-old man in the torso, arm and leg.

The victim was taken to Brookdale Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police tell News 12 they recovered a gun at the scene and are continuing to monitor the area outside where the shooting took place.

Police say it is unclear whether the victim was the intended target.

One person of interest is in custody and charges are pending.
