A man and woman were fatally struck by a train after police say the man intentionally pulled the woman on to the tracks.
Cynthia Raiser, 42 was killed Thursday when she was pulled on to the tracks and struck by a northbound C train inside of the Broadway Junction subway station during rush hour, police say.
Riaser was pronounced dead at the scene while the man accused of pulling her on to the tracks was transported to Brookdale Hospital where police say he later died.
Police have not released the identity of the man.
The incident resulted in major delays during the rush hour evening commute.
Police say they are still investigating the incident, but are calling it a homicide.
