Exclusive: Family speaks after 17-year-old girl is stabbed inside Williamsburg high school

Police say a man was shot in the shoulder overnight on 52nd Street and 7th Avenue in Brooklyn.

According to authorities, the shooting took place before 1 a.m. The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

One person is in custody with charges pending. Police say another suspect is still on the loose.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police.
