Police are searching for a man accused of slashing another man with a knife on Christmas Day for not sharing his beer.

News 12 is told a 25-year-old man was walking near East Tremont Avenue and Marmion Avenue with a bag of beer he had just bought.

That’s when police say the suspect approached the man and asked for some beer.

The victim refused, and News 12 is told the suspect then pulled out a knife and slashed the 25-year-old in the nose and abdomen with a knife.

The suspect then fled.
