A man was stabbed twice in the chest outside of a Clinton Hill migrant shelter, according to police. They say the victim is in critical, but stable condition.
The NYPD says that the incident took place just after 12 p.m. They say the stabbing took place as a result of a verbal dispute between the 20-year-old male victim and the suspect.
The stabbing took place at the intersection of Hall Street and Flushing Avenue, outside of a migrant shelter.
Police tell News 12 that they have one man in custody, 25-year-old Cristian Concepcion, who lives at the shelter. They also confirmed that the verbal dispute was over a moped.
Concepcion is now facing charges of felony assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing.
Officials say they have yet to determine what was used to stab the victim.
