Police: Man stole victim’s wallet in violent Crown Heights robbery

It appears that he is helping the victim get into the building, but then he grabs his arm, pushes him against the wall and throws him to the ground.

A man was attacked while walking into a building in Crown Heights Monday, police say.
The incident happened between Schenectady and Utica avenues at around 2 p.m.
Video released by police shows the victim walking into the building on Eastern Parkway with the suspect behind him.
It appears that he is helping the victim get into the building, but then he grabs his arm, pushes him against the wall and throws him to the ground.
Police say the suspect stole his wallet and fled.
News 12 is told the victim is expected to be OK.
