A man was struck and killed by a dump truck in Williamsburg on Saturday, the NYPD says.

They say it happened just before 4 a.m. at the intersection of Woodpoint Avenue and Withers Street.

Police say the man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he later died. The driver did not stay at the scene.

It's the second fatal pedestrian incident in Brooklyn in the past two days – the other happening in Downtown Brooklyn.

Police have not released the identity of the man who died and no arrests have been made.

News 12 spoke with residents like Victoria Como, who said she was not surprised by the fatal incident.

"A lot of them go through the light, they don't bother stopping,” she said. “They ignore it completely. We know there's a lot of crazies it there and it just goes to prove it when things like this happen."
