Police say a man is wanted for an attempted rape that was caught on camera in Sheepshead Bay.

Police say around 1:50 a.m. Friday, the man approached the 45-year-old woman inside the lobby on Shore Parkway and 13th Street and tried to put his hands down her pants.

The video shows the suspect walking behind the victim and get into a struggle as she tries to fight him off.

Officers say the victim was dragged out of the lobby. The suspect took off after the victim resisted.

News 12 was told the victim suffered bruising and scratches to her body.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact police.
