Police: 5 men wanted for shooting into second story of Edenwald home

Police are looking for several young men who shot at a house on a residential block in the Edenwald section of the Bronx.
Authorities say five men, who were seen on surveillance video, got out of a dark-colored taxi around 7:42 p.m. on Oct. 4 and approached the home near the intersection of East 223rd Street and Bronxwood Avenue.
When they were unable to enter the home, one of the men began to fire several shots at the second floor of the home.
Police tell News 12 that a mother who was inside the house was cooking at the time and heard the gunshots. When she went to investigate, she found two bullet holes lodged in her bedroom window.
Police also tell News 12 that a 9-year-old girl was also inside the home. No one was hurt.
Authorities are searching for five suspects between the ages of 18 and 20 years old. Police are still searching a motive to this shooting.
