An arrest has been made following the tragic death of a man who died trying to save another man from a subway gang attack.
Police say they now have 19-year-old Noel Rosado in custody. He is facing multiple charges including murder and gang assault.
As News 12 reported in January, a 38-year-old man was under attack inside the Fordham Road subway station. The assault caused the man to fall onto the tracks. A 36-year-old man jumped in to rescue him but was tragically struck by an oncoming train.
The man he was trying to help survived the attack and had suffered a fractured arm.
