Three people were arrested following a police chase in Rye Tuesday morning, officials said.

Police received an alert at 8:35 a.m. regarding a reported stolen vehicle that entered the city from Mamaroneck.

Officers found the vehicle and attempted to pull it over. Officials say the driver did not stop and continued to drive until the vehicle became disabled in a marshy area near the St. Regis Residences and Playland Access Drive.

Police say four people, two men and two women, ran from the vehicle. Officers found two women near the vehicle, while a third person was found near the Osborn retirement community.

Police searched for the fourth person with assistance from neighboring departments. Westchester County Police Bloodhound later found the fourth suspect.

Jamar Smith, the driver of the vehicle, faces multiple charges including criminal possession of stolen property, criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration. He was arraigned in Rye City County and released.

Kennedie C. Brown and Tyvaughn D. Holmes were both charged with obstructing governmental administration and released.

A juvenile was released to a family member but was not charged.
