A person of interest in Monday's fatal shooting outside Penn Station was apprehended at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Thursday morning, and transported to Midtown South Precinct.
Police say Vincent Arcona, 27, of Medford, was wanted in connection to the triple shooting that killed one man and sent two others to the hospital.
It's not immediately clear why Arcona was inside Bronx Lebanon Hospital. News 12 was told that staff members recognized him immediately and called the authorities.
After Arcona was apprehended, investigators scoured the area around the hospital in an effort to collect evidence, including a nearby sewer grate.
According to police, an argument inside a McDonald's led to the shooting at the subway entrance on West 35th Street and Eighth Avenue. Police believe the incident stemmed from some sort of drug dispute.
