Police have just released a new photo as they search for one of the two people involved in a robbery that happened in Flatlands — and they’re hoping someone recognizes him. The NYPD says it happened around 8:10 p.m. on Nov. 29, when a 26-year-old man was stopped at a red light at Flatbush Avenue and Avenue L. According to investigators, two people walked up to the victim, kicked him off his motorcycle, and one of them sped off with both the bike and the victim’s cellphone, which was mounted to the handlebars. The individual shown in the newly released image was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. Police say the person who rode off took Flatbush Avenue south, while the second person ran west on Avenue L. The victim was not hurt. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls are anonymous.
