Police are searching for a man they say beat up one of their own.
The NYPD released a sketch of a suspect they say attacked an off-duty police officer inside a Manhattan subway station.
They say the suspect punched a 29-year-old officer in the face causing him to fall and hit his head on the platform. Doctors put the officer in a medically induced coma after finding bleeding in the brain.
Officials say the suspect ran from the scene with two women.
They say the suspect is in his early 40s and wore a white T-shirt and jeans.
