The NYPD is searching for the person responsible for a triple stabbing that left one person dead in Sunset Park.

The stabbing took place at the intersection of 50th Street and 4th Avenue on Sunday morning.

Investigators say Melvin Gomez Nunez, 42, died from his multiple stab wounds.

The other two victims are expected to survive their injuries.

Brooklyn residents did not want to appear on camera but told News 12 that the corner of those two streets is a frequent spot where people are often drinking and getting into fights.

No arrests have been made at this time.
