Police found a man shot to death laying in a pool of his own blood on Marmion Avenue Friday, but haven't identified him yet, and residents blame the lack of security for the homicide.
Neighbors say the man's body was found in the stairwell of the top floor.
"It's very scary to think about the fact that so close to where you live, a man was murdered, a complete stranger," says an anonymous tenant.
Although no one knew who the man was, tenants say the building is pretty easy to get into because the buzzer system is broken and the door stays unlocked.
Despite complaints by tenants to management, nothing has been done, residents say.
Attempts to reach management were not successful Sunday.
