Police say a 30-year-old man was slashed in the head near Times Square. 

News 12 was told around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, the victim got into an argument with an unknown suspect. The suspect then slashed the man on top of his head. 

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition. 

Officials say the suspect fled the scene, but police say they know who they are searching for.
