A man was caught on camera robbing a Bronx barbershop with a gun after employees posted jewelry for sale from the location for $13,000, police say.
News 12 acquired surveillance video from the NYPD showing the suspect in a red hooded sweatshirt pull the gun out and start pointing it at the barbers and victim while making demands on Saturday. He is seen shooting the gun up at the ceiling, and an employee behind the counter handed over an envelope that allegedly had $10,000 inside.
Police have told News 12 that the suspect fled the scene on a moped down East Tremont Avenue toward Vyse Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
