A woman has died following a hit-and-run crash in Massapequa, police say.

They confirmed 72-year-old Arlene Fierro died as a result of the injuries she sustained after being hit by a Ford pickup truck last month.

It happened at the intersection of Front Street and Park Lane.

The driver did not stay at the scene and police are hoping the public can help them track down the suspect.
