A woman was found dead on a Bronx sidewalk early Saturday, police say.

Police say they responded to Jerome Avenue at around 6:27 a.m. after receiving information about an unconscious woman.

The victim was found by someone walking by and notified the nearby fire department.

Officials arrive and found the victim with no signs of trauma.

The victim was pronounced dead the at the scene. A medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
