A woman was sexually assaulted while walking home in Williamsburg, police say. 
The incident happened Thursday near Richardson Street and Kingsland Avenue around 2:20 a.m.
Police say the 27-year-old woman was walking home after leaving a nearby bar when she was attacked and sexually assaulted by a man.
Investigators say the man came up from behind the woman, forced her to the ground, removed her clothing and raped her.
The woman walked a mile to the 90th Precinct after the incident before being transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say the suspect is in his 20s and is about 6 feet tall. They are continuing to look for surveillance video from the area in an effort to identify the suspect.
