Hotdog chain Nathan's Famous says a poor harvest has forced a potato change in Coney Island.
Officials say a different potato is being fried up and served. The famous crinkle fries are normally made of Katahdin potatoes.
A spokesperson for the company says it expects to get the original potato back into the frying pans in the next three to four weeks.
