The curator of Underhill Walls, Jeff Beler, is asking the community for help repairing the 17-panel art display.
“Over the years, the weather has really taken a toll on the wood some of the panels are falling off and down," said Beler.
Beler created the art initiative 10 years ago. Since then, he's had dozens of artists from around the world contribute to the wall.
“I feel like I’m adopted to the community, they can come on by and enjoy it," said Kam, a Queens artist.
For years this installation has brought joy to community members free of charge. Now Jeff is asking for the community to help chip in for repairs.
