A man is in critical condition after a possible bias attack on the Belt Parkway Sunday.
According to police, a black man got into a confrontation with two white men at a rest stop on the eastbound Belt Parkway at Knapp Street. Authorities say the fight halted two lanes of traffic, but the victim was struck by a vehicle when he tried to get away from his assailants in a lane where traffic was still moving.
Police are now looking for the two attackers and the vehicle that hit the victim. The injured man is being treated at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.
