Five years ago, Puerto Rico was battered by Hurricane Maria,
causing massive damage and loss of life. The efforts to restore and rebuild infrastructure
came under massive scrutiny.

Kurt Semder welcomes Rep. Nydia Velazquez to discuss the issues
the island faces.
Also, Councilmember Tiffany Caban speaks on the future of Rikers
Island. In the first three weeks of September, three more inmates have died in
custody there.
