Tonight on Power and Politics, News 12 Brooklyn will have a preview on the 2020 election.
Many people closely watching what will happen in the 11th Congressional District in Brooklyn.
Dr. Christopher Malone, the founding dean of Arts and Sciences at Molloy College shares his thoughts on what  Rep. Max Rose (D) needs to do to hang on to his seat. "I think he needs to talk about healthcare. He needs to talk about things like the Verrazano Bridge in Staten Island in his connection to Brooklyn. He needs to talk about local issues because what's going to happen in a presidential year is most attempts will be to nationalize the election. It's about the national Democrats, it's about the national Republicans, it's about Trump, it's about the Democratic nominee. And what he has to do is say I'm here working for Staten Island and Brooklyn. I am not concerned about what's happening at the national level."
Tonight, Dr. Malone also shares his thoughts on the battle for the White House and the three things everyone should be watching for this election season.
