A power outage Monday left hundreds of Williamsburg residents in the cold.

Con Edison says its “crews are working around-the-clock to restore service to customers as quickly and safely as possible, repairing damage caused when snow and road salt mix and seep into our underground equipment.”

The FDNY says it responded to a manhole fire at 101 Montrose Ave. just before 1 p.m. and handed the issue off to Con Ed.

535 people are without power as of Monday evening, and a warming center is available at I.S. 49, The W.J. Gaynor School, located at 223 Graham Ave.
