The wind and rain Tuesday morning caused a dangerous power outage in Dyker Heights.

Power has been fully restored, but Con Edison says more than 700 customers were without power at one point.

Residents say they were woken up by flashes of light and loud noises as some wires came down.

First responders say two people were taken to the hospital to be checked for injuries.
